Web Hosting Mistakes

So, you’re still looking for a web host, right? Make sure you avoid the 3 mistakes below

Limited Technical Options

Most of the free web hosts (and some paid ones too!) give you limited technical options.  You should avoid any companies that don’t offer or allow you to use mod_rewrite, CHMOD, IonCube etc.

Free Hosting

The visitors you bring to a website on a free hosting usually become someone’s else and not your customers. Unless you’re planning to play with a personal website, free web hosts are a big no-no.

Cheap Hosting

Even if your budget is limited, think twice before buying 2$ yearly hosting plans.  When the price is that low, there is a catch.  Anything over 5$-10$/month and which requires payment in advance for at least 3-month can be considered reliable hosting. Hostgator is the best example for that.

You forgot to mention never to trust a hosting company that offers unlimited there is no such thing, everyone has limits, read the fine print and your find you will be limited one way or the other.
